Acted as an External Chair for the executive board. I work with other fraternities and sororities to make social events in order to deepen our bonds. I also setup all professional events such as career advising!

What is a Fraternity? Based on Wikipedia, In North America, fraternities and sororities (Latin: fraternitas and sororitas, 'brotherhood' and 'sisterhood') are social organizations at colleges and universities. They are sometimes collectively referred to as Greek life. Generally, membership in a fraternity or sorority is obtained as an undergraduate student but continues thereafter for life. Some accept graduate students as well.

The primary goal of a SOAR Leader is to help facilitate the transition of undergraduate, graduate, transfer, and international students to Illinois Institute of Technology. SOAR Leaders will serve as positive role models for incoming students by facilitating group discussions on salient topics, sharing their student experiences, helping them connect to campus resources, answering questions about Illinois Tech, and helping them to acclimate to life as an Illinois Tech student.

First-year mentors lead small groups incoming students and introduce them to useful resources at Illinois Tech. New students participate in discussions and events with their group during the First-Year Seminar, may meet with their first-year mentors on an individual basis, and are able to participate in organizing group activities throughout their first year.
